List FBA Products in Bulk

Learn how you can upload product listings in bulk using a flat file instead of listing each product individually.

Flat file feeds are useful when you have many different products that you want to list at once. You can enter all of your products into an Inventory File Template and upload them all at once instead of locating them on Amazon and listing them individually. The file you create can be retained and used to update quantities and prices and to add or delete products. You can learn more about flat file feeds by going to Inventory File Templates.

When you use inventory file templates to create your FBA listings, there are several fields that you must fill in correctly to list your products for Fulfillment by Amazon. If you enter the information incorrectly, your FBA listings will revert to showing as being fulfilled by merchant:

Field Name Fulfilled by Amazon Fulfilled by Merchant
FulfillmentCenterID Enter "AMAZON_EU" for all of your FBA listings. Leave this field blank or enter "DEFAULT" for your listings that you want to fulfil on your own.
Quantity Do not enter a value in this field. If you indicated "AMAZON_EU" in the FulfilmentCenterID field, these quantities will be ignored. You can enter quantities in the shipping workflow when you create a shipment to a fulfillment center. Enter the quantity of the product you are making available for sale. This is your current inventory commitment. If left blank and you did not enter a FulfilmentCenterID when first submitting the product information, the product will be displayed as "Out of stock."

Update FBA product information

In addition to the inventory file template, use the FBA Fulfilment Attributes template to update FBA-specific product information not included in the inventory file template. This is information is uploaded once for each listing that you have already created.

Download the FBA Fulfillment Attributes template to begin updating your existing FBA listings.

The workbook includes four tabs:

  • Instructions provides directions for using the template.
  • Data Definitions provides an explanation for each column in the template.
  • Template provides a blank spreadsheet for shipping individual products.
  • Example provides an example of how to list your products.
  • Valid Values provides a list of valid entries for the columns in the template.

To create and upload your attributes list:

  1. Review the instructions and data definitions.
  2. Fill out the spreadsheet, adding all of the appropriate information for your products with values from the Valid Values tab.
