Amazon limits the addition of new sellers in certain
categories to ensure a high level of quality so that customers are able to buy with
confidence from all sellers on Amazon. In order to sell
in the Grocery category, you will have to meet the requirements listed below. While
our site-wide selling guidelines still apply, please note the additional requirements
for this category.
Alcohol Seller Requirements
In addition to the requirements listed above, you will need:
-
A Premises and Personal alcohol license; Amazon
reserves the right to request the sellers to provide proof of this license during the
application process. The application will be declined if the proof is not provided.
Note: Your listings may be subject to certain
legal age restrictions. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable
regulations and requirements.
-
You must provide individual proofs for the
payment of duties and taxes for the sale of such products, as well as the proof for
fulfillment of all tax formalities related to import, marketing, and possession of such
products.
For further information regarding the obligations of food companies as well as important
regulations, see The Ministry of the Health website.
For more information on the terms and conditions, see Beer, Wine, and Spirits.
Please note that FBA is not yet available for products containing alcohol.

Scotland, and Wales) after December 31, 2020 should comply with the following requirements:
-
The products that you sell must be new.

All products must be intended for sale in the UK and comply with all laws and

version of the EU FIC will apply to the sale of food products in the UK as a result of the
Food (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019/529.
For medicinal products, you must register with the UK’s MHRA to sell medicinal products
online.
