To improve the delivery speed that Prime customers see for Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) offers, starting July 26, 2021, sellers enrolled in SFP in IT are required to meet the following requirements to maintain SFP eligibility
On weekdays, the minimum seller order cut-off time is 3:00pm. Orders received before cut-off time have to be shipped the same day. Please ensure that your SFP carrier(s) arrive for parcel pickup at an appropriate time after your orders are ready to ship. You can set your order cut-off time in your general shipping settings here.
We are always listening to our customers, and we continue to improve the Amazon Prime experience for them. Prime members consistently tell us they want free and fast delivery, and as SFP has not met those customer expectations, we introduced these changes to improve the SFP customer experience. We want customers to have a fast Prime experience regardless of how their order is fulfilled.
In EU, sellers can enroll in SFP, in the marketplaces where it is available and if eligible, via Seller Central.
In SFP in Italy, if you set your order cut-off time to 3:00 pm or later for Monday to Friday, it will meet the requirement.
We have created a step-by-step video (available here) to help you make the right changes to your shipping settings.
You must meet the order cut-off requirement to continue offering your products through the SFP program. If you do not meet this requirement by July 26, 2021, your SFP eligibility may be suspended. To avoid suspension, we suggest you to temporarily deactivate SFP for your selling account until you meet the requirement. You can deactivate SFP for your selling account in Shipping Settings here. You are welcome to offer your products through our Merchant Fulfilled Network and reactivate Prime once you meet the new eligibility requirements.
If your eligibility to participate in SFP has been suspended, we require you to update "Order Cut-Off Times" settings in Seller Central in line with SFP policy to reactivate SFP for your account. Please update your order cut-off time in Order Fulfilment Settings under General Shipping Settings in Seller Central (here) at the earliest to regain SFP eligibility. We will reevaluate twice per week whether SFP accounts regained eligibility, and reactivate SFP once you meet the order cut-off requirement. We will notify you when SFP is enabled on your account.
We have created a step-by-step video (available here) to help you make the right changes in Seller Central.
Yes, regardless of whether you choose to participate in SFP in the future, you can continue to use Buy Shipping services to purchase ship labels for your non-Prime Amazon orders if you wish. The ship labels available through Buy Shipping services will be based on the carriers with whom you have onboarded.
SFP rules and policies are set according to the local context of each marketplace, including available carriers, national topology, and local logistics networks. As a result, requirements and implementation timelines may vary across marketplaces. If requirements in other countries change, we will notify the participating sellers directly.
You must meet the order cut-off requirement to continue offering your products through the Seller Fulfilled Prime program. If you do not meet these requirement by July 26, 2021, your Seller Fulfilled Prime eligibility may be suspended. You are welcome to offer your products through our Merchant Fulfilled Network or through Fulfillment by Amazon.
