Liquidation order creation error messages

Upon creating liquidation orders, you may encounter one of the following error messages in Seller Central. The reason and resolution for each error message is described below.

Error message Reason Resolution
Product is not eligible. Items you are trying to liquidate are not eligible for the liquidation channel. To learn more about eligible items, visit FBA Liquidations and refer to the ‘Product eligibility’ section.
Inventory is classified as Hazardous Material (Hazmat) - please contact us. Hazmat items are not eligible for liquidations. To learn more about eligible items, visit FBA Liquidations and refer to the ‘Product eligibility’ section.
Inventory ineligible for liquidation due to product restrictions or Amazon policies. As per Fulfillment by Amazon policies, restricted items are not eligible for liquidations. To learn more about product requirements and restrictions, visit FBA product restrictions.
Inventory in location that cannot process removals - please contact us. Item is currently stored in a fulfillment center that does not process removals. We advise you to wait until the unit is transshipped to a fulfillment center that can process removals. Contact us for further support.
Liquidation partner could not be found for inventory. Currently, no liquidation partner has the capacity to receive the item. We cannot arrange a buyer for the inventory. Amazon currently doesn’t have a liquidation partner who will purchase these units. We are constantly working to expand our network of wholesale liquidation partners for a wider range of product categories.
VAT Calculation Services is deactivated. VAT Calculation Service (VCS) has been deactivated since the liquidation order creation for your account. VAT Calculation Service is a program eligibility requirement. Ensure that you remain eligible in order to avoid any issues. Register for the VAT Calculation Service.
Inventory ineligible for liquidation due to the unverified VAT status. To learn more, visit the help page. You need to have a valid VAT number in the country where the inventory is stored in order to be eligible for liquidations. Add a verified VAT registration number or VAT number to your account.
Inventory temporarily unavailable for removal as a result of an in-progress transaction or other process – please check again in a few days. The units you are trying to liquidate are currently unavailable for liquidations. They may be a part of another liquidation order. Contact us for further support.
Inventory is not available for removal; please try again in two days or contact Selling Partner Support. This happens when your inventory is either being transferred within fulfillment centers or it is still being processed inbound. Wait two days or contact us for further support.
