US small business - Is it even worth selling in Europe?
I just figured out my profit margin, after shipping from the US via UPS expedited air & paying VAT Taxes, was around 25% which would also include all the other Amazon Fees. Is this good? I was hoping for at least a 30% profit margin. I have a VAT number in Germany and in the UK. How do sellers from the US make it in Europe? It seems like the pre-paid VAT taxes during import are just killing me. Thanks

Hello @Seller_AYeyj72rYpIDF
You are smart to figure out your profit margin and then make a decision from there. Perhaps you will get a reply from another seller that might illuminate a modification in your business model that would allow you to profitably ship to Europe. Otherwise, follow your own counsel as you will know your business best.
Thank you for selling on Amazon, and thank you for visiting the Seller Forums.
