Amazon Approved an Refund for an Order That Was 45 Days Ago
Filed an A-Z claim because a customer got a refund for an order that was placed way pass the refund window. After getting denied and trying to appeal several times, I just gave up and sent this: "Ok can you clarify this: any customer can get a refund no matter how much time has passed? This refund was issued way pass the order date. How is it fair that the customer can just come back 45 days later and request a refund and get approve? Amazon is very unfair to the merchants, the customers get to have their way no matter what they do. This is so terrible for my small business. I know this is going to go unheard, just wanted to vent."
So fed up with this, I'm a small business and pay for shipping costs out of pocket to ease the cost for the customers as I'm getting my product off the ground. But they are so ungrateful! I mean seriously, they are sending back the product because they didn't properly read the description and though it was something else. How is that my fault you idiot? I don't get refunded for the cost to ship (PLUS the cost to ship it back). My product is only $10... and they really want their money back. I know, I know "it's my money and I want it back" but yet it's your fault for ordering something you didn't understand (idk how they don't understand). It would be understandable if it was $20+, but $10? Really?
