Amazon Warehousing and Distribution - Amazon Partnered Carrier Shipping Nightmare - CTII Central Transport AVOID!!!

CTII Central Transport was my assigned partner carrier by Amazon when creating a shipment using Amazon Warehousing and Distribution. CTII picked up my two pallets on Aug 29th. The delivery date to Amazon was September 12th. This was confirmed by CTII's rep in the beginning of Sept. When I checked the tracking today, the delivery date was moved to September 30th. The 30th!!!

When I contacted CTII today, 9/12, for more information, CTII first replied, " . . .Amazon requires appointments for delivery. They let us know when they can accept the freight. The earliest they are able to schedule this is for 09/30."

I then sent them a screenshot of their rep saying they had an appointment and the appointment was Sept 12th. CTII then replied "We are an estimated carrier and dates are subject to change. Due to being short staffed we were unable to route the trailer out when it was appointed. Amazon advised us the next available date they can accept the trailer is 09/30."

This is insane. Nowhere in the workflow for Amazon Warehousing and Distribution or documentation does it state that shipping with Amazon's partnered carrier can take over one month. There is still no guarantee that CTII will even have the staff to deliver on September 30. Why is Amazon giving CTII business if they are so understaffed? Why does Amazon not alert sellers that an Amazon's Partnered Carrier takes so long? Why is Amazon allowing sellers to use AWD if the appointment times are so backed up??

Due to the delay, I will be losing a lot of money in holiday sales. I would have just shipped UPS had I known the process for AWD was so awful and slow.

Is there any way to remedy this? I have no idea who to call or what to do. Is there a contract that goes along with shipping pallets through Amazon that stipulates how long the shipment is allowed to take?

Can you screenshot the paragraph in the documentation that shows how long delivery to Amazon should take from the pickup date? I haven’t found any information so far on this.

Can you please give more details about what information you are specifically looking for?

Our AWD partner team let me know that the appointment has been processed and the shipment will be delivered by CTII on October 2.
