Does Amazon mean UTR when they ask for Business Registration Number?

Hello

I'm a new seller based in the UK. My limited company is already VAT registered, so adding it under Tax Information.

It accepts my VAT number, but also asks for "Citizen ID" and "Business Registration Number". For the latter, I assumed this meant my Company Registration Number (CRN), but the form doesn't accept this number. I sort of guessed maybe they mean my company's Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) so added that and the number was accepted.

Is this right?

Can anyone else with a UK-registered company and UK VAT confirm they use their UTR here without issue?

I've also left the "Citizen ID" blank as my personal ID (do they mean NI?) shouldn't have anything to do with my business, particularly its VAT. It seems like the form is happy for me to leave it blank?

Thanks for any insight - if they really do mean UTR they should get their basic UK HMRC terms sorted - a company the size of Amazon should be able to do that, right? ..... right? :)
