Requesting Guidance on Providing Country of Origin Information as a Reseller
Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,
We are writing to respectfully request guidance on how to properly provide country of origin information for our FBA listings. We operate as a reseller utilizing the Amazon wholesale business model, sourcing products directly from the authorized distributor of the brand.
We recently received a couple of emails from Amazon requesting to provide country of origin information for our ASINs by December 31st, 2024. However, we are encountering an issue when attempting to update this information through the "Safety & Compliance" tab. We see a message stating that "Since you're not the brand owner for this product, you can only create an offer for this ASIN. You are not authorised to make or request an update for any other attribute for this product."
Could you please advise on how we can fulfill this requirement as a reseller? We are committed to complying with Amazon's policies and ensuring accurate product information for customers.

Dominic from Amazon here, this is correct if you are not the brand owner you will have issues providing this information. I would recommend reaching out to Seller Support and providing the information to them.
