Merchant SKU already exists. Merchant SKUs cannot be reused, even if a previous offer using the SKU has been deleted. Please use a new SKU to create this offer.

I am trying to convert 2 listings that I have to FBA and I keep getting this error "Merchant SKU already exists. Merchant SKUs cannot be reused, even if a previous offer using the SKU has been deleted. Please use a new SKU to create this offer."

I created a new SKU and I can send those to FBA but the issue is they're being assigned a new FNSKU and we don't want to re-label thousands of products.

Can a mod assist me with this issue?

Following. I am having the same issue. I have deleted the files, waited 24 hours, did a file upload and I get this issue.

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. At this time the issue is that Merchant SKUs and FNSKUs are tied together. Once created these SKUs cannot be changed to be related to a different ASIN. You will not be able to use an Merchant SKU (and the related FNSKU) to a different ASIN than the one that was originally used with the listing was created.

At this time it will not be possible to list your products with the old FNSKU. You should be able to use the Merchant SKU/FNSKU for the offers of the original ASIN but it will not be possible to change the ASIN.

I apologize for the difficulties this creates. Please feel free to reach out again if you have additional questions on this issue. Thank you for your understanding.
