Item confirmed delivered, buyer says not there, used buy shipping, what do I do?
I shipped an item to a customer, UPS shows it was delivered. It was shipped\delivered on time, label was purchased through Amazon buy shipping. According to their policy they are supposed to fund the refund, but how do I handle this correctly? I have started switching to FBM after 10 years+ of FBA, so I'm unfamiliar with the nuances of these claims - any help would be most appreciated.
I'll also mention that this buyer has now done this to me twice. He ordered a month ago, I refunded him then (buy shipping was unavailable that day), and this time he used a different name from the same account and claimed non-receipt again. I believe he's just wanting free stuff, so I don't want to give in this time.

I had a similar person contact me by messenger. Here is what I messaged them back -
Tracking shows that this was delivered on 3/25. The mail person would have scanned it as it was delivered. It was mailed in a blue and green polybag. Please check with the mailman to see if they remember placing it at your address. If the post office can not help you may ask Amazon to help by doing the following steps:
To request a refund on an eligible order:
Go to Your Orders.
Locate your order in the list and click Problem with order.
Select “Package didn't arrive” from the list.
Select Request refund.
Enter your comments in the text box.
Select Submit. Note: Refund requests can take up to one week to investigate.

I see this was originally posted last week so I wanted to check in on the status of this order. If you shipped on time and utilized Amazon Buy Shipping, then I would direct this buyer to file an A-to-Z claim. If tracking shows first scan is on or before the ship by date, then you will not be held responsible for the claim. If you have been held responsible for the claim, be sure to file an appeal for the A-to-Z claim.
