Customer returns going back into inventory

How do I stop Amazon from putting my returned item (that has be opened or used) from the customer & returned back into sellable inventory. I have already received a couple of complaints that they are receiving opened/used item. I have looked everywhere to find a solution for this.

This has been a highly requested service since before I started selling here 8 years ago.

Sadly, Amazon doesn't care if they damage our accounts by misgrading a return, and do not offer any way to have returns automatically removed.

Hi @Seller_3XQIGypEaOrVn,

Tatiana from Amazon here. Can you tell me more about the type of product you are selling and it's specific packaging? Is the packaging able to be resealed in anyway after it's been open, or can it sometimes be hard to tell that it has once been open?

The reason I ask the above questions is because we do sometimes see this with product packaging where it isn't immediately obvious that a product has been opened. If the packaging doesn't have some kind of sticker or seal that must be broken in order to open it, our FBA associates are unlikely going to be able to tell that it has been previously opened.
