Help With Product Bundling Using Variations

Hello everyone!

We need some help for our listing in relation to product bundles and variations.

Our company is Brand registered. This problem is under an ASIN for a boating fender/bumper. Under our parent ASIN we currently sell two sizes of fenders. Under this same parent ASIN we offer 4 packs of each size (multipacks). So 4 variations (single smaller fender, single larger fender, 4 pack smaller fender, 4 pack pro fender.

Recently we have started selling an electric air pump to compliment these fenders. We of course would like to offer the pump with our 4 packs as we do on our own website. We consulted Amazon via phone several months ago on how we should go about doing this. We were told this would be a bundle. So naturally we added two variations, the smaller 4 pack of fenders with the new pump and the larger 4 pack of fenders with the new pump. All was well for awile. But recently we have had these two variations removed and a policy viloation warning on our account.

After going round and round with Amazon support, I still do not have clear answer on 1) why these variations were removed. 2) what is the proper way to list these bundles. I haver read the product bundle page many times and feel we were in compliance.

Both our single fender and single air pump ASINs are FBA (as well as FBM) and our multipacks and both bundles are strictly FBM.

We have taken advantage of the virtual bundles to duplicate these bundles for FBA. But we still would like these bundles listed as FBM as well.

Furthermore, there are countless listings on Amazon where sellers are doing exactly what we're doing. Such as a baseball net being sold alone and as a variation with say a bat, ball, etc. Or a camera sold individually as well as a variation with say a bag, memory cards, lens etc.

The only explanation I can think of is that these other listings are selling their "bundles" as kits.

Any help would be apricated!

Good Evening @Seller_CPsjZX2kVzRQ2,

I wanted to reach out to you regarding your bundling question. I actually published a post about how to create virtual bundles recently-->HERE<-- if you'd like to take a look.

Products that ship through the FBA program are only eligible to be added to a bundle.

Also when you create a bundle, each component ASIN must be buyable on its own. This means that multipacks and “multi-box” items (single ASINs that ship in parts in multiple boxes) cannot be created with this tool.

Please review the recent post and let me know if you have any clarifying questions regarding how to build your virtual bundle.

Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and take care.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
