Does ALL orders require a SIGNATURE on delivery to be protected from "non-receipt" A-Z claims?...I am losing claims where I have sent through RM Tracked 48 with full tracking, GPS coordinates, photo on delivery and delivered within the estimated time...If I appeal to Amazon I will need to prove signature but that's just too expensive...what is their policy on getting a signature for even low value items >£10

the policy states that a signature ‘is helpful’ and claims are more likely to be granted to the customer if there is no signature.
And the likelihood is, going on our experience that 8-9 times out of 10, the claim will be granted to the customer.
Others will tell you it’s fairly likely that even with a signature, you’ll loose the a-z claim.
That’s why, especially for low value goods it isn’t really worth getting a signature delivery service, as it doesn’t really help when it comes to a-z claims.
Many sellers will simply see a-z claims (as unfair as it is) as a cost to build into your pricing, similar to shop lifting.

I sell low price item and mostly wouldn't get a signature on delivery.
Signatures on delivery causes their own problems. It relies on the customer being in to get the signature. If the customer is out and Royal Mail do 2 delivery attempts then the customer has to pick the item up from their delivery office or rearrange the delivery. It is actually better from a customer point of view to send tracked 48 assuming it fits through a letter box or can be left in a safe place.
Although you are more likely to lose an A-Z without a signature. Even with a signature you can still lose the A-Z so it is not guaranteed.

So annoying when amazons own delivery drivers don't tale a signature. very few couriers have you sign anymore and has been like that since covid.

Getting a signature is pretty pointless these days.
Amazon hardly take any notice of it for A-Z claims.
Royal Mail very rarely get you to sign and self sign them like they did during covid and even if they did get to you sign anyone could just claim that it's not their signature.

I'm currently arguing with Amazon this same issue. As they seem to think that a customer signature is more proof of delivery than a photo and GPS. Also, that Amazon delivery don't even ask for a signature and just play Knock and Run!

We should all be complaining when this happens as Amazon are totally in the wrong and they need to change this outdated policy.
No delivery company offers a standard signature delivery and is now only an added extra.

Not only dont Amazon own couriers not get a signature but more often than not dont even knock on door or ring the bell but just leave parcel on doorstep

This is another marketing ploy from amazon to frustrate sellers and get everyone to sign up to FBA so that they can suck more out of the sellers.
