Inactive account

Hi, I am a new seller. I opened my individual account but when activated it was on professional. I have tried to downgrade but It will take effect buy 24th next month. They are still asking me to change my payment method so my account is inactive. Has anyone experience anything like this? is there a way I can speed up the activation. I seriously don't know how an individual plan changed to professional plan.

Thank you for reaching out. You can choose to downgrade your account from a Professional selling plan to an Individual selling plan, if you don't want to be charged a monthly subscription fee.

  • On the Seller Account Information page, in the Your Services section on the left, click Manage.
  • Note: If you don't see the option to modify your selling plan, you may need to close other accounts. Please see Accounts that require a Professional selling plan below before moving to the next step.
  • On the My Services page, click Downgrade located in the Sell on Amazon section.

Once completed, and if you have not used any of the benefits, you can open a seller support case to be issued a refund.

Also, you will want to make sure that you have a valid credit card on file. One that accepts international charges and is not a pre-paid or debit card.
