Addresses not validated by Amazon
We are starting to get an excessive amount of returns by the post office because customers are not providing correct addresses. It was our understanding that Amazon validates addresses. Is this no longer true? We're not only losing money shipping to but now paying for the return shipping and Amazon refunds 100% as soon as they see it's RTS'd and the customer reports it. Is there no way to recuperate any of this lost money? Is anyone else seeing an uptick on this issue?

That has never been true.
The closest you get there are the (mostly wrong) bots employed during the buy-shipping process. All those bots look at is delivery time and may decide (based on goodness knows what) that USPS does not deliver to that address.
