My account got charged $45 even though I had no active listing

I newly created a seller account for the US, CA, MX zone. Yes, I am fully aware that the professional type with an active listing has a monthly subscription. But I distinctly remember that, when I was setting up my account, I selected "Individual person" as the option . Anyway, anyone knows what might happen if I downgraded? Would I get $45 back or would I have to ask for reimbursement?

Even if it is the professional type, what happened to the idea that "there will be no charge if there is no active listing"?

By the way, I had a horrible experience with the call centre. They said verbally as well as in writing, "It's a new account so Amazon is testing whether your credit card is authentic. You will get the money back in 24/48 hours." Horrible, horrible, experience.

I took a quick look at your account and see a couple of things. First of all your account is not completely opened as it is waiting for you to provide your tax information.

For the fee, I see that you first had signed up under the Professional plan, but see it has been downgraded to the Individual plan on next cycle.

Here is a link to the selling plan comparisons. There is a monthly subscription charge for the Professional plan of $39.99 regardless of how much you sell. On the Individual plan, the charge is $.99/item fee when item is sold.

You are also eligible for a one-time refund of subscription fee that will be charged to your account soon after the completion of registration process. You are only eligible for that one-off refund if you have not used any professional tools or benefits within 90 days

Once you have finished setting up your account, downgrade your account to the Individual selling plan, which I can see you have already completed.

After completing this step, contact Seller Support by following this hyperlink requesting reimbursement of the Professional selling fee of $39.99.
