Account deactivated for multiple accounts
Hi. I'm new to Seller Central and just had my account deactivated for having multiple accounts. There is no information provided as to what the second account is other than it seems to have the same name with no space in between the words. I have seen other threads where users have had the same issue. However, no resolution seems to be clear in any discussions. I have attempted to ask for clarification but am unclear about what to do other than "provide evidence that the other account is not owned by me." I have no idea how to prove this and am not sure it's not just a glitch in Seller Central as I have only ever created one account. Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated!

Hi @Seller_mDmLCiOTVdUBq,
I hope this finds you well!
I understand your account has been deactivated due to being related to another account which has the same storefront name as your account. I would like to provide insight into the applicable policy and resources for you to utilize here.
Amazon's Selling policies and seller code of conduct states all sellers are expected to only maintain one selling account unless there is a legitimate business need for multiple accounts. Such needs include being recruited for an Amazon program which requires the registration of a new selling account or if a seller has multiple brands.
Even when permitted to have multiple accounts, all of them must stay in active, good standing at all times. If one account is deactivated, all connected accounts can be deactivated and will remain so until the root of the issue has been resolved.
While you do not need permission to do sell abroad, this applies when a seller enrolls in global selling, which opens up other marketplaces for business. If one marketplace becomes deactivated, all others will also be deactivated.
When the account name provided in the performance notification you receive upon deactivation, this will typically mean you have another store on another marketplace. Even when this is not the case and you see this happening, it will mean there is another marketplace or store you have created and, thus, will need to reactivate prior to the reactivation of your current account.
Did you ever enroll in global selling?
If so, you will want to visit any other marketplaces for which you have signed up and reactivate that account prior to your current account being reactivated.
If you recognize this account as yours, you will need to work to reactivate it. If you do not recognize that this store is yours, you will want to investigate to whom the account belongs and what the relationship is between this account and the other.
I also suggest viewing this seller university video.
Feel free to continue utilizing this thread to ask questions and provide relevant updates here, as the community and I are here to support you.
