Got Scammed By Customer And Amazon, lost money on refund and did not get product back
I am a Turkish seller on Amazon and I use the FBM model for shipping, , and I have encountered an issue with two of my orders. The products I sell are large, and shipping from Turkey incurs a hefty fee of $250. However, I marked the shipping as "Free Shipping" on Amazon, and I included the shipping fee in the price.
Here's the correct sequence of events: When the customer placed their first order, they opened an A to Z claim because they believed the product was lost due to not being delivered to their P.O. box. They then placed a second order for the same item. However, for the second order, they provided a different address, which was not a P.O. box it residental adress, enabling successful delivery.
When I inquired about sending the first order to the new address provided for the second order, I received no response from the customer. Consequently, I decided to ship both the first and second orders to the same address(lastorder residental addres). Despite both orders being successfully delivered to the same customer, the A to Z claim process did not acknowledge this.
In my appeal, I explained this sequence of events and actions taken, but Amazon did not accept my explanation, and I did not receive a refund. I have attempted to appeal multiple times without success.
In the case of the second customer, they requested a return due to the product being "too small" after thirty days of purchase. Despite providing detailed measurements and descriptions in the listing, i just rejected that return and explained the buyer via message. However, Amazon issued a refund without my authorization a week later, before he product was not returned.
I contacted Amazon, and they advised me to file a Safe-T claim, but I am ineligible as I do not have Prime membership and ship from Turkey via FBM. Feeling cheated, I sent a prepaid shipping label to the customer to return the product, but I have received no response for several days, indicating they may not return it as they have already received a refund.
In summary, I feel I have been taken scammed of. I apologize for the lengthy explanation, I post it on the Amazon forum seeking advice and assistance from fellow sellers?
Finally, the total value of both orders is approximately 1300 dollars. In this case, what are my legal rights? Do I need to sue the customer and what is the success rate in this? Any do you have any lawyer company suggestion?
Thank you.
