Can I Apply for Amazon Brand Registry in the USA with a UK Registered Trademark

Hello, fellow sellers,

I currently have a registered trademark in the UK, and I am selling my products on Amazon USA. I wanted to know if I can apply for Amazon Brand Registry in the USA using my UK-registered trademark, or do I need to have a trademark specifically registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)?

Has anyone experienced this before or could share any insights on how to proceed with Brand Registry in the USA when the trademark is from a different country?

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and yes you can enroll your brand in Amazon Brand Registry with you UK registered Trademark. Amazon Brand Registry is a global program and accepts Trademarks from 20 countries plus the EUIPO and WIPO.

Please be aware that Amazon does not take action on intellectual property notices concerning registered trademarks, designs, or patents from countries other than the country for which takedown is requested.

What that means is that you cannot claim Trademark infringement in the US store if you do not have a registered TM in the US.
