Chargeback from customer bank
Customer filled a chargeback with their bank. After providing Amazon all the information that the watch was delivered and signed by the customer, Amazon refunded the customer the money. They said that the bank appealed again and they had to refund the money. How is this fair.?? Amazon should have refunded themselves from their money not ours.

Hello @Seller_egmJkP7C3ln6Y
Amazon is not a party to the sale of your watch. The transaction is between you and the buyer and the transaction is covered by the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. Please refer to paragraph 7.b which states the following:
- BECAUSE AMAZON IS NOT INVOLVED IN TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND SELLERS OR OTHER PARTICIPANT DEALINGS, IF A DISPUTE ARISES BETWEEN ONE OR MORE PARTICIPANTS, EACH PARTICIPANT RELEASES AMAZON (AND ITS AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES) FROM CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND DAMAGES (ACTUAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL) OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, DISCLOSED AND UNDISCLOSED, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH SUCH DISPUTES.
Chargebacks will happen if you sell merchandise, whether online or in a brick and mortar store. The help pages I linked below will give you more information about what chargebacks are and how to respond to a chargeback claim.
