moving product with inventory from generic to brand name
Can anyone please help with how to change a product from generic to brand. When I first set up the product I was not brand registered. I have product sitting in an amazon warehouse and now have an Amazon approved Brand name. I would like to move my products under this brand but do not understand how to do this. When I messaged Amazon they said I need to create a new ASIN - so I started to do that but now that product has no inventory. How do I fix the now branded product ASIN to have the currently full inventory from my generic ASIN?
PS: I have a very large inventory. Recalling and Resending is expensive.

That is correct. So, you initially listed your BRANDED product as "Generic" and that was a violation.
To assign your products to your NEW listing:
Create a case and ask Amazon IF they replace FNSKUs. I thought they don't but recently someone said here that they do. If not:
Create a removal order and make the units send back to you or to a US prep center. Then send the pdf with the new FNSKUs to the prep center and make them stick over the old one (or replace them). Then you create a new shipping plan and send in again.
Sell out this generic listing and only AFTERWARDS send in your branded units if Amazon doesn't change the FNSKU and if you don't want to remove the inventory.
