Amazon Lost My Entire Shipment!
Amazon lost my box of 153 units that cost me $2,372. This was shipped from my home after I counted the items myself and shipped with an Amazon shipping label. The box was "checked in" to the Amazon warehouse on July 27th and it has been crickets ever since. They finally "closed" out my shipment because it has been so long. I filed the items as needed to be looked into by Amazon. It has been a week since I filed and attached my invoice. I finally received a response after multiple messages saying I need to attach an invoice. It has all of the required items and I resent it again (furiously!!!!!).
Has anyone else experienced this before???? Did you ever get reimbursed or your shipment found??

OP: " I have now learned that my inventory, valued at approximately $3,000, has been trashed by the FBA warehouse department."
Hope you are not going to get kicked with Amazozn other foot. That invoice you send must show that your merchandise was purchased from the manufacturer, using a commercial account in your business name. Receipts and on-line credit card sale receipts/invoices are not accepted. You will only be reimbursed for the wholesale amount paid.
This problem should be a lesson learned for other new sellers planning to use FBA.
1. Before considering the use of FBA, always test sell your product using FBM for at least a month. That way, you know the salability of the product and if there is enough profit in the item to pay all the fees Amazon will assess and still have your desired profit remaining for yourself.
2. FBA processing can take several weeks. Since you are already test selling the product yourself, do not send all the remaining inventory to FBA. Hold back at least another month's sales in inventory, and continue to sell. This will keep profits coming in while waiting for FBA to sort things out.

The invoice does show all of those items and is from the manufacturer. The response I keep receiving back from them is to send over the invoice.. at this point I have sent it over 10+ times. It has everything they are requiring.
It feels like a complete SCAM so they don't have to reimburse me. I can't get in contact with anyone from Amazon that will help me!

Just to confirm, have you requested an investigation via the Contents tab of your shipment? From what I can tell you opened an investigation on 9/23/2024 which created case #16073283851.
In taking a quick look at it, it appears that there was a response in the case about 6 hours ago. Please do review this correspondence as it has resolution provided which I will not share here.

Has happened to me multiple times to the point where if I ship anything to Amazon I ship only single types of items in single boxes. 2022 they lost around 2.5k worth of items. You have to give all of the information up front including the invoice and usually multiple times. Have to be extremely patient with them concerning this as frustration results in the call being closed.
