Is saying in a Bullet Point that my product is exclusive to me as a seller against TOS?

Amazon removed a bullet point where I said that I am the Official Brand Registered rights owner to a product I'm selling. I put it there because other sellers have been jumping on every now and then and Amazon is not allowing me to gate my product. Was that bullet point against TOS? I'm considering using Transparency as a hack to block sellers jumping on my listing.

Correct, you can't put anything that is specific to you as a seller in your listing because others can also choose to sell it, even if you are the only one that can sell the real thing since you make it. Others may choose to sell a counterfeit version, you never know. (Sort of kidding, but not really.)

I understand a bullet point was removed from one of your listings due to referencing yourself as the brand registered rights owner for the product. Adding information into the listing that do not describe the product itself can be in violation of the product detail page rules. For example: Product titles, product descriptions, and bullet points must be clearly written and help customers understand the product.

I have included a few videos on the product detail page policy for your reference:

Typically for these types of violations, you will have the option to edit the product detail page and update or remove the bullet point that does not meet the product detail page requirements. Can you confirm if this is the experience you have? Once the listing attribute is corrected and accepted it can take up to 24 hours for the listing issue to be removed.

I hope you find this information helpful. I have also forwarded your information to the account health support team to provide you with further guidance. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date as they may reach out. If you have any further questions or updates, please feel free to respond in this thread.
