Invalid address problem

Hello, at the end of January, Amazon requested documents from me in the form of a bank statement, tax ID number and proof of address. I provided the documents and ordered a postcard at the address indicated in my documents. The documents were accepted and I was waiting for the postcard, but after a couple of days in the preparation status, I got the invalid address message. I immediately contacted support on this issue and was told to add the same address via the "add new address" button, which I did. But after that, I was just returned to the original page with the same error and that's it. The support just repeats the same thing and it doesn't work.

Can anyone help with advice?

Thank you in advance

Hi @Seller_7fj6JDEiwBVEh,

Thank you for your post. I understand you are dealing with address verification issues. Based off the content of your post, it seems this may be related to the Inform Act.

When adding a new business address, you will need to ensure that all information matches exactly to any documents that may have been previously used to verify your information when completing other aspects of Inform that you have referenced. For example, if the word "Street" was fully spelled out on the document, but you used the abbreviation of "St." on your address, this would be a way the address would be invalidated. The same concept would apply for names (Jim instead of James, etc). After the correct address has been updated, you should be able to get the postcard sent to you at that time.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.

Regards,

Troy
