π What's Your Favorite Halloween Candy? π

Hey there, fellow sellers! It's that spooky π» time of year again - Halloween is just around the corner.
I'm curious, what's your favorite Halloween candy? Is it something classic like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or Kit Kats? Or do you prefer something a little more unique, like Sour Patch Kids or Twix? π«
Personally, I'm a big fan of Snickers bars. There's just something about that perfect combination of nougat, caramel, and peanuts that really hits the spot. Are you more of a Snickers person? Or do you prefer something a little sour, like Sour Patch Kids? I'd love to hear what your go-to Halloween treat is! π¬
Sharing our candy preferences is a fun way for us to connect as a seller community. π Plus, you never know - it might even give you some inspiration for your next product launch or promotion.
So go ahead, indulge your sweet tooth and let me know - what's the one candy you always look forward to this time of year? I can't wait to hear all about your Halloween favorites!
What's Engage with Amazon? I like to think of it as a section of the forums where we can connect and collaborate together as a community. Everyone is welcome to chime into the discussion and share their unique perspectives. There's really no pressure here, just a fun way to engage with each other. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Apple Cider Vinegar.
Because after the bitter taste of having to deal with Amazon each day, even Apple Cider Vinegar taste sweet.

Coming here trying to start conversations with sellers is like a master who's mistreating his employers, but still come around to gaslight and ridicule them. Do better, treat y'all sellers better before trying to start fun conversations. We are angry, tired, used and feel robbed! And respectfully, we don't care.
Sincerely,
A used and tired Amazon Seller

Hear Hear!!! Seriously, could this topic be more tone deaf considering the absurd number of problems Amazon has and the poor treatment of 3rd party sellers.
There is a time and place for everything and unfortunately until Amazon fixes some MAJOR issues, there is no time for this.

Hi @Seller_EWPnXa9SdQQ15,
I am sorry that you feel that way and I think it's nice to hear some fun things in the forums, rather than just all about selling to learn more about your fellow sellers. Here in the forums, we try to fix issues for you, and try to find long term solutions, however, that is not always possible.
As I stated below to another seller in this post, please provide your feedback and I will be happy to share your concerns with leadership.
I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated with your experience here in the forums or with other teams that you are working with. If you have any feedback on things you think we can improve, please let me know and I can forward any suggestions that you have to our leadership for review or to leadership of our other teams. While I can't make any promises that things will change exactly how you want them, know that we do want to hear about your experience and take all feedback into consideration.
If you would rather not post it here, please let me know and I can create a case directly to you through your Seller Account where you can provide your feedback, just let me know.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!
Michelle

Our account was suspended a year a half ago unfairly; no information on specific ASIN's was ever given and Amazon rejected numerous valid invoices (again with no information as to why), here is the letter and cases in another thread:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/2083d0ef-bf22-4861-80d5-26d6c70bb134?postId=72dd59c2-c2a7-4267-82d2-5ef48455b343
Also here are several cases that we appealed:
141396132611370146422113642734711136418801811363421552113631847531
Mods and Account Health have looked at this but only done a very cursory job and appear to be standing by some bad AI (rejecting products and invoices). Look at the track record of our account and the data in the cases, no way our account should be suspended.
I doubt you will be any different or even respond to this, but here is your chance to prove me wrong.

Hello @Seller_HRcJa1gdGHeov,
Unfortunately, if invoices were not able to be verified from an authorized distributor from the brand, your account will not be reinstated. When you sell on Amazon, you have to ensure you are sourcing from authorized distributors from the brand and ask that the brand provides you with a letter of authorization to show you have approval to sell your items. Purchasing from online retailers or other resellers does not provide a valid supply chain and are not considered valid invoices, so you may want to review your supply chain.
Unfortunately, there is no other information that I can provide to you, however, if you have invoices that can be verified and are from authorized distributors, then you can appeal again.
Regards,
Michelle

These were not online sales and were bought from a verified wholesaler that we have done business with for over 10 years. What exactly were the problems with the invoices, that information was NEVER disclosed to us??? All contact information for each supplier was on the invoice and no supplier was ever contacted.
We have been selling on Amazon for over 15 years with NO problems; the origination for the supply chain check was a bot and no ASIN was ever provided that Amazon was suspicious of.
I could understand if we were doing a bad job (high returns, AZ claims, chargebacks, bad feedback, ....), but that was not even close to the case. Look at our selling history; this is NOT how you treat a long time seller that has added significantly to the Amazon selling experience.
You are basically cutting a padding a policy that we are well aware of and DID NOT violate. You have to dig deeper and look at our account and you would clearly see this was unjust!

Hi @Seller_HRcJa1gdGHeov,
If you have a paper trail from your wholesaler that leads back to the manufacturer/brand owner, then I would provide that in your appeal. You may find this post helpful, as it talks about invoice requirements. Getting a letter of authorization from the brand or having them add you to their Brand Registry will help as well. Again, I wish I could provide you with more information, however, I can't see your invoices or why they did not accept them.
Thanks for your understanding.

Well aware of information in post and it is rudimentary at best, you can have everything in thew post and still have documents denied. In a follow up a seller asked if you follow post and are still denied, mod even stated that Amazon will provide no information on detail or their process for determining the detail. This is a black box and offers no accountability on Amazon's Account Health team, this is bad from a process design standpoint and unethical from a business point of view.
The paper trail is hard to get and since I supplied invoices for 3 valid suppliers that is a ton of work. in addition suppliers do not like to divulge their suppliers (for obvious reasons, especially when Amazon is involved). In general Amazon has a very rudimentary idea of how the supply chain works and the lack of personal contact makes the draconian process you have in place very difficult if not impossible to navigate; if I could literally speak to an account rep for 30 minutes I GUARANTEE I would have my account back (that is how ridiculous the decision is).
I do not understand, this is my business you are talking about; why do you not get that, I have employees and their families to take care of!

my favorite "candy" used to be the "cheddar" we earned on here, but it seems the amazon rat has grown a lot and is now taking larger bites out of everything, like the inventory placement fee. I had one box sent in recently that the inventory placement fee doubled after being received. Notice how the inventory placement fee says "estimated" so they can increase it a couple of months later after the fact because the rat gets hungrier and hungrier.

I can't get enough Heath bars. I love the cronch.

Reeses chocolate and peanut butter the best combination
Seller_HRcJa1gdGHeov
Explain exactly what that means, how are you verifying them.
You are using bogus AI (bots) that are making incorrect decisions and all the humans who are supposed to act as a check on the bots refuse to question their output for their own personal benefit.
Seller_HRcJa1gdGHeov
If they do not share their process, there is NO WAY you can possibly know it is manual. Also just the fact that they do not share it with you or 3P sellers is not good; the is a black box and their is ZERO accountability. The fact that Amazon can and does suspend 3P sellers and provide no information (in the name of proprietary information) for the suspension is beyond wrong; it may not be illegal, but definitely unethical.
There are many distributors or wholesalers that are not listed on a brand's website; these change all the time and there is no way that they could keep this up to date. Did Account Health bother calling distributor's, the brand, checking with Better Business Bureau? There are literally dozens of ways to verify goods were purchased legitimately, but Amazon does now want to due their proper due diligence (actual work).
Sad and you know this is not right; there are literally 1000's of small business's that Amazon has either damaged or destroyed by their poor Supply Chain management (Account Health) system. There is a better way, you say 3P sellers are your partners, about time you start acting like it and treat us with some respect.
