When to cancel return request

There seem to be a few dates/timelines that have to be right before we can cancel a return request that has been approved but there has been no change to the shipping status (UPS has not scanned the package of yet).

Order date: 6/13 (32 days old)

Return Request/Approval (auto): 6/18 (27 days old).

Can I close the return after the approval request gets to 30 days? Thanks

I just leave them be. Some are returned, some are not, eventually they go away

Regarding your dates/timelines inquiry. "Return requests not actioned within 50 days from return creation (such as, if the return item is not sent back to the merchant) will be closed automatically." I would like to highlight that this might be affected during holiday periods.
