Replacing and Verification of Credit/Debit Card

I had to replace my credit/debit card from my bank on which my Amazon account funds are deposited.

Amazon is not able to verify the card and update the payment method. I even got and tried second replacement card and that doesn't verify either.

This is a debit card tied to my bank account. This card works at all of my other recurring payment sites, including Amazon.com for buying. I have always had a debit card linked to this account in the past with no problems.

I have cases open with CS and some the advice they give is wait 48 hours, which I have done to no avail.

If anyone has and advice or experience please advise.

You will not be able to make a debit card work to activate you selling account. Even if Amazon successfully charged that card for the fees owing.

It must be a true credit card -- not debit.
