New Seller Benefits: Monthly Storage fee waiver
Hi all,
As per NEW SELLER BENEFITS, eligible ASINS enrolled for the New Seller incentive have the benefit of Monthly storage fee waiver but i have been charged USD 172 in october for storage charges. When i ask Seller support, they only send me copy/pasted information from seller central, no specific response.
Can someone from Amazon team, please help check why am i being charged monthly storage fees even though my ASIN is enrolled in FBA New seller program.

I don't know much about fees and I know a little about new sellers falling for this...
just a thought
you get free monthly storage...what about all the other FBA fees? Did they promise not to charge those either?
Monthly inventory storage fees Storage fees are charged for all items stored in an Amazon fulfillment center based on calendar month and your daily average volume of inventory.
Aged inventory surcharge Inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers is assessed an aged inventory surcharge in addition to the monthly storage fee.
Removal order fees You can have Amazon return or dispose of your inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers. A per-item fee applies.
Returns processing fees A returns processing fee is charged for orders for which Amazon offers free return shipping.
Unplanned service fees When inventory arrives at a fulfillment center without proper preparation or labeling, Amazon provides those services for you. A per-item fee applies.
FBA inventory storage overage fee
An overage fee is applied if your inventory at a fulfillment center in Amazon’s fulfillment centers (not including open shipments) exceeds your capacity limit for a given storage type.

Can you please check my account for the eligible monthly storage fee waiver because the Amazon seller support team is clueless about what i am asking. They keep referring me to the copy pasted messages from seller help.

Thanks for your patience while we worked to reply. I first want to confirm that your ASIN meets the minimum requirements for this incentive:
"Standard-size and non-standard size (including small, medium and large non-standard size, but not special non-standard size) items are eligible for the program. For more information, go to Product size tiers.
Parent ASINs must be new to FBA. For more information on parent ASINs, go to Variation relationships.
ASINs in Media categories and used items are not eligible. Media categories are Books, DVDs, Music, Software & Computer/Video Games, Video's, Video Game Consoles, and Video Game Accessories.
Only apparel and shoes ASINs are eligible for free return processing.
For the rebate specifically, unbranded child ASINs that are already seller-fulfilled and have five or fewer unit sales per week (on a trailing four-week average with a four-week window, with the evaluation window concluding one day before the first inbound into FBA) won’t be eligible for the rebate if introduced to FBA."
