Revenue Calculator with new placement fees - any reliable solutions?
With the new placement fees, is there a way to calculate the estimated revenue of an item before you send it in? This question is not about how the placement fees are bad, so please don't post about how Amazon does not care and only wants to make money. I am genuinely interested in tools that can help me calculate revenue from products before deciding to sell the products on Amazon. I'm not sure if any 3rd party apps have a reasonable estimate of profit that includes FBA fees since they seem unpredictable. How can I create new products and price them competitively if I don't reliably know what FBA will cost?

Hi there @Seller_KLZvfQaDIKTst- and I appreciate the foresight in this post.
This page does indicate that placement fees are included in the revenue calculator's purview, are you seeing anything different from your end?
I'd also recommend reading through this page on the 2024 FBA inbound placement service fee, which confirms that upon shipping plan creation you’ll see a fee estimate for each available inbound placement option. The page also has some context on fee structure and contingencies. While the numbers shown in the shipping plan are estimates, they are likely your best tool for understanding what placement fees may apply. That page also has some great context on methods for avoiding or reducing fees where possible, if you've not reviewed those yet.
I do hope this helps, and thanks again for engaging here on the forums!
Best,
Danny
