unable to list books
I have been selling books on Amazon for over 16 years and suddenly we are not able to list any books and when I apply for selling book group we were asked to provide an invoice from a publisher/distributor which we provided one from this April 2024 but we were denied the selling application because the invoice has to be dated before January 9th 2024 and we cannot produce that since we weren't buying from a publisher before. Our account has been reviewed by the Inform Act and we passed fine but we are stuck now as we are not being able to list books anymore. We believe this whole thing has been triggered by a customer complaint that a book we sold her was inauthentic( an Algebra book from 1980's that the customer complained there is no mentioning of the edition..there is no mentioning of an edition number on the Amazon listing either..later on the customer wanted to withdraw the complain but didn't know how). We submitted a Plan Of Action on how to rectify the problem and to prevent it from happening again. What else can we do now?
I hope that someone from Amazon can notice this discussion and perhaps offer a solution.

Check your account health, and, if you have recently had Brazil added to your account, make sure there are no alerts there. You may need to add payment or charge method there even if you put it on vacation.
That is one possible source of trouble when trying to add listings.

Hello @Seller_UiOpDj8Aa5kc3
Thank you for the information provided regarding the issue with listing your books. I understand that our team is requesting documentation and have limited your ability to list for books due to a concern relating to product authenticity. How did you source the book that had the complaint? How were you sourcing if you were not purchasing from the publisher?
Concerns with authenticity will require an invoice or other type of documentation that can show the origination. What information is our team currently requesting in the messaging you received? Do you have any other documents that you could provide for review?
Our team is going to need to be able to verify the sourcing for the books you are attempting to list. If it cannot be verified, they will reject the overall submission. The listings will remain in the the current status they are in without any additional details.
Please continue to refer to this thread with any additional questions or concerns regarding this situation.
Best,
Atlas

Are you getting stopped when you are listing used books?

Hello @Seller_UiOpDj8Aa5kc3,
Thank you for continuing to utilize this thread for further guidance on this topic.
I see that the documentation you have submitted for the authenticity complaint has not been accepted and may not meet our document requirements. When you submitted an appeal for this issue, you should have received a follow-up notification with the reason why the documents were not accepted. Can you share that notification here for us to review? Also, a plan of action will not be accepted to resolve this type of violation.
Do you have a case log regarding the selling application for books that you can share, so we can look into this further?
I look forward to learning more so that we can guide you the best. Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please feel free to respond here in this thread. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
