Optimise B2B deliveries with business hour delivery rate
We’ve launched the business hour delivery rate metric for Fulfilled by Merchant orders that are sent to Amazon Business customers with commercial addresses.
Business customers expect to receive deliveries during operating hours to minimise delivery reattempts and lost or stolen parcels. So that you can assess how often you meet this expectation, we’ve launched the new metric to show the percentage of shipments delivered during business hours.
When you improve this metric, you can maintain buyer trust, increase your chance of repeat purchases and become a trusted supplier.
You can download your Business Hour Delivery Rate report on the Fulfilment Insight dashboard to understand which shipping carriers have delivered during business hours. Picking the carrier and shipping method that delivers your Amazon Business orders more often within business hours can improve your rate.
Important: Your business hour delivery rate doesn’t affect any programme eligibility and is only provided for your insight. If you haven’t had a Fulfilled by Merchant Amazon Business order in the past three months, you won’t see this metric.

Complete nonsense, I have lost count of the number of times Amazon have attempted to deliver to our business premises late in the evening.
Now we are getting emails 'as at least one of your business orders was not delivered within business hours'. I checked the orders and Royal Mail attempted to deliver on a Saturday but then successfully delivered on Monday - what is the issue?
