package not delivered question

I sent a package to a buyer using amazon shipping labels so I am am covered however the tracking shows it was out for delivery then states"a carrier delay has occurred". This was two weeks ago and nothing since. Would I still be covered if they open a to z claim or should I just send refund and open insurance claim with USPS? thank you

Yes, you would be covered for an A-Z as long as the package has a physical scan no later than the ship by date. Likely the USPS just failed to do the delivery scan, so I wouldn't worry about it.
