This isn't Amazon.

Amazon will not close your account, that if a function you can do unless you are deactivated, then you can't close it until it's reactivated.

As stated above, you do this yourself, but it cannot be done with a suspended account.

If your account is in good standing and you want to close it, delete all listings -- active or inactive. Wait ninety days, then close the account.

I never recommend closing an account. You can't just close and then open a new one.

My name is CR and wanted to hop in here. Please know that the seller forums are comprised of other sellers like yourself along with some community managers.

If you decide to permanently close your account, follow these steps:

  1. Fulfill any outstanding orders.
  2. Wait 90 days after your last sale to ensure the A-to-z Guarantee claims period is honored.
  3. Wait until you have a zero balance in your account (your next disbursement or charge date).
  4. Resolve all of your transactions with buyers, including issuing any necessary refunds.
  5. Confirm that your bank account information on file is up-to-date to receive a final payment.
  6. Check your Performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for your account's suspension have been resolved and your account is restored.
