there is a problem with your VAT registration number

Please help, Amazon suddenly rejected my VAT number ( it used to be valid for 2 years). We checked VIES website and it clearly shows that our VAT number is valid!

It has come to our attention that there is a problem with your VAT registration number. The VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) from the European Commission has concluded that your VAT registration number *******85NH is invalid and as a result, your VAT registration number has been declined. If you are enrolled in the VAT Calculation Service (VCS), you will no longer be able to use this service until you provide a valid VAT number. While VCS is de-activated, you must create and provide VAT invoices for this country yourself.

Review your VAT number details in your VAT/GST Registration Numbers page at https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/tax/registrations for any errors and re-submit.

If you have any further questions, please contact your local Tax authority for additional information regarding the invalid status of your VAT registration number.

I understand you have received a notification regarding Value Added Tax (VAT) in one of your European marketplaces.

Amazon requires all sellers to provide a VAT number within 60 days of registration in a specific country. If this is for more than one country or region, it might be possible you will need different numbers from the respective countries.

You will want to ensure all of your business address, name, and VAT registration information matches between Seller Central and the appropriate tax authority. Have you updated any of that information prior to receiving the notification of your VAT number being invalid?

You may utilized this link in order to request an extension if you are needing time to update your VAT information, if you are closer to the 60 days after a notice of invalidation.

Do you have any relevant case IDs or further communication and insight into this situation? This will enable the forums community, moderating team, and myself to assist you to the best of our ability.

How long should I wait? I have contacted on 19th of March , its been 5 days , since then amazon is charging me extra fees on ads and sales, because my tax number is inactive on Amazon while it is totally VALID in VIES sytem

I have not received any help from support, no solution so far, while our Tax number is totally valid amazon keeps rejecting it!
