Hello Everyone.I am new in this forum. I am a new seller and I am on FBM.

Hello Everyone. I am now in the process of adding products, however, I am required to send my Brand names need to be approved by Amazon. So I am now working on it. Planning to move on Amazon FBA if my initial products have been sold. I can't wait to become one of the sellers in this greatest market place in the world.

Sadly, you wont feel that way very long. And depending on what you are trying to sell, may have less then you started with once you get suspended.

That's all fine and good, but make sure you're also approved by the brand owner itself and sourcing directly or from them or their authorized distributor. You'll need to contact the brand directly for permission to sell. This is foremost, with approval from Amazon being secondary. If you're not doing that, you may soon find yourself suspended. Of course, this is assuming you won't be selling your own private label brand (which you've made sure doesn't infringe on any other brand).

Also suggest you give FBM a good, long try before sending anything into FBA. You'll want to make sure you have product(s) buyers want, can find and you're making a decent profit on before committing to FBA, with it's higher fees.

Welcome to the forum and good luck to you.

Hello @Seller_7z9OS5hmiQYUt

Welcome to the forum and congrats on getting started.

As others have stated above, there is a ton of information to learn and absorb, and its important you learn as much as possible before jumping in.

Seller University has a wealth of videos and information to review and go over multiple times in many cases. I wanted to call attention to the below resources for you that I think you will find helpful.

Guidelines to Sourcing (video)

Responsible Sourcing Documentation Requirements

Invoice Requirements (video)

Take your time, write down questions that are confusing for you and utilize the forum to ask clarifying questions after you've reviewed yourself.

Best of luck!

Leave scAmazon, as soon as possible, before you start losing money. it's a money pit and a scam. They won't honor their own policies, even when quoted and pasted. We have lost over $1500 in inventory. If you can absorb 3-5% loses then go for it or use thebay instead.

Do not sell FBA till you can get everything set up under FBM and make sales. As you can see from other sellers this is not the greatest marketplace on earth. It is the most difficult site to sell on.

In my opinion, a seller should do FBM for 6 or 7 months, learning packing, how quickly your item sells, if the merchandise is actually making the money one thought it would, before jumping headlong into FBA.

Have you gone through SELLER UNIVERSITY?(Several times and make notes.) As commentors have mentioned, AMAZON is a complicated and sometimes difficult platform for newbies( as well as for more seasoned veterans.)

My advice is to create your own product or improve on another. Don't sell something everyone else is. Find a niche item. Do the research. Its not all true what you hear about selling on the greatest marketplace. You have 1 life on here, make it good.

Then be patient. Most people want immediate sales, and if you sell a good product you will get sales.
