2 Step Verification Madness!!
How can I stop using the 2-step verification process on my desktop browsers? It's annoying to have to grab my cell phone# verify each and everytime I want to log into my account. I check the "do not use OTP on this browser" and it doesn't stop.

Hello there @Seller_wM0nLLkM8WJfx
Two-Step verification is now required and mandatory. Please feel free to read this post on it should you want additional information.
You also created a thread on this topic already that can be found here.
Please do not created duplicate threads for the same topic as this can be seen as thread and go against our community guidelines. It also creates confusion within the forum and create unnecessary additional work.
I appreciate your understanding.

Well, you tagged 14 different mods for help.
So that would be you.
You may note, I'm not the one complaining about how terrible and unfair Amazon is; that's you.
And don't concern yourself; I'm not worried about you in the least.
(oh, and not sure where you're getting your info about me; but it's wrong).

In Today world, where so much hacking, 2 not 3 steps verification necessary. then people blame amazon that my account is not working, inventory lost, payment lost.
i seen this type of cases physical, and account holder is standing helpless, all payment and inventory transferred in out of country. password changed, so now amazon starting address phone number verification every year.

switch listings over to mecari and help take a stand, they just eliminated selling and buying fees as they understand the abuse amazon sellers have been feeling over the last year and are accomadating the switch.

Maybe you are deleting your cookies every time you close your browser?

Use a 2FA app like WinAuth. It's free, easy to set up, and you can install it on any/all computers that log into your account.

I can't be bothered to dig into the code, but this is a common problem with sites that authenticate using 3rd-party cookies (i.e. cookie stored from a (sub)domain different than the one you are logging into). Requiring 3PC is very poor security, but also common practice. There's a browser setting for allow/deny that option. If that's the issue, and it occurs in your primary browser, use a secondary browser for Amazon.

I don't close my browser so I only have to do it once a week (when it is shut down over the weekend). I also am on all hours, so it doesn't ever time out.

I despise this new policy. Totally inconvenient. If Amazon is so concerned with security, how about closing all the doors that allow hijackers to hack our ASINS?
