Sellers listing famous brands under their own brand to prevent other sellers to sell and/or kick them out as brand owner!
There are many sellers who list other famous brands under their own brand and limit other sellers to list the product.
Here are a few examples:
1) B0CL5SFG37 the actual brand is Natures Bounty, but it is listed as FrenchGlory brand
2) B0CLKR2XCZ the actual brand is Tru Nature, but it is listed as FrenchGlory brand.
There are actually many listings of various brands listed this way with this brand.
3) B0CJT9C2JC the actual brand is Kirkland Signature, but it is listed as Whizzotech brand.
There are actually many listings of various brands listed this way with this brand.
There are also multiple listing which the brand is listed as Generic but they are not:
1) B0C6FRGMS6: actual brand is Chuckit!, but it is listed as Generic.
2) B0CF6R9H9R: actual Brand is Vital. Listed as Generic. When tried to add, error came up that you are trying to change the listing. Opened a case, and was told that my product is not Generic, and can not list.
What is the process of preventing misrepresentation of this type by listings?

The seller probably bought the product but could not get ungated so they are using a different brand name. You can report them. Eventually Amazon will shut the listings down and hopefully the store as well.

Good Evening @Seller_nfKKBNPMHmJvB, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Amazon encourages sellers to report listing abuse or seller violations of Amazon's policies or applicable law.
You may report these ASINs using the Report Abuse tool on the Account Health Dashboard. Here is a video on how it works. If you are brand registered, you can also file a report through the Brand Registry report abuse tool.
Please let us know if we can further assist you or you may always contact Selling Partner Support with inquiries at anytime. Have a wonderful rest of the week. Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
